Dechen Bartso

Dechen joined Western Rivers Conservancy in 2021 as the paralegal. Her experience includes working as paralegal and legal assistant in the areas of real estate, corporate and probate law for over two decades. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, India, and a bachelor's degree in Social Science from Portland State University. She also received a graduate certificate in Real Estate Development and Planning from Portland State University. She has volunteered and held various board positions on the Northwest Tibetan Cultural Association. Her dream is to one day explore all the rivers on the Tibetan Plateau. She enjoys her free time with her family and friends, hiking, gardening and meditating.
