Rob Griffith joined Western Rivers Conservancy in 2008 as Corporate Counsel and retired as a permanent staff member in 2019. Since ending his legal career, he has served as special advisor to WRC's president. An attorney since 1985, Rob previously was a partner and Chair of the Real Estate Practice Group at Foster Garvey (formerly Garvey Schubert Barer), Western Rivers Conservancy’s pro bono law firm. During his 18 years with the firm, Rob built a long-standing relationship with WRC staff while representing WRC during dozens of riverland acquisitions. Rob is a graduate of Oregon State University and Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. He also serves as a board member or advisor to local charities.
